We had about another 1" overnight, so not too bad on top of what we have already.

No more snow here overnight--and i am sure that it is not as cold as it has been. I may even be able to get out this week sometime--since the middle of December, I have only been out once.

We've been out today replenishing and stocking up on food.
I'm not convinced this wintry weather is over yet.
Although during the day it felt milder than of late, this evening turned really cold again. :(

Harry and Chloe have been so good while I have been ill, but as soon as I get the chance I will take them on a long walk--as soon as the snow has cleared.

We had a little more snow today-I was going to lunch with friends , but had to cancel. I am hoping to go shopping tomorrow--when I tried to book on Monday for online shopping today-the whole week was full up. !!

But according to the latest forecast, things will change for the better by the weeknd-I am keeping my fingers crossed.

We have more snow this morning, more than expected and just when we thought that it was coming to an end.
Normal seasonal temperatures are forecast by the weekend.
I think we'll wait and see

It has been snowing all day here today, although it is only the last couple of hours it has actually stuck.

2 snow days for me over the last 10 days - extra time at home with Freja who loves being out in the snow. She buried all her toys in it, and we're only finding them all again now!

We have had a day of rain today. It is definitely a lot milder tonight, but they say temperatures will drop again towards the end of next week.

Marian I do understand the difficulties snow brings... The one feature I didn't mind was when we had the snowstorm here in Kansas... I knew everyone else was housebound .. I did want to mention I met some women today that had been to Kent and said it was lovely there. Well I suppose on sunny days, which hopefully will come soon... We are having very foggy weather .. Like London I guess Thinking of you Marian ... Lori

Yes, it was very cold in south-east England last week but it's definitely milder now. The hinges on my front door seized up in the cold, making it difficult to close the door, but they have now gone back to normal. However, I believe more snow is forecast....!

The forecasters are playing it safe. They say we could have rain, sleet or snow.
Perhaps there could be sunshine too. they forgot to mention that :) :)
Never mind we have a lot to be thankful, for, after seeing and reading of the recent dreadful tragedies.
