Listening to the song "I Gotta Get Through" by British actor Anthony May. He guest starred on in an episode of "Here Come The Double Deckers" playing a pop star called "The Cool Cavallier" . It's a shame he didn't really become a pop star, he sounds a lot like Cliff Richard on this song.

Anthony May was in a short film called "Les Bicylettes De Belsize" in the late 60's Eman. I love this film, only about half an hour, but it tells the story of a young lad cycling around Hampstead in London, and features several songs including the title. I don't think he actually sings the songs, I believe it was dubbed by Johnny Worth. It is out on dvd with another film short.

Thanks for the info John. I heard of the film but never knew it was on DVD. Yes I also heard that someone did the singing for Anthony May but if you get a chance watch this video from you tube of him singing. https://youtu.be/UDYVmkCA3sg

Let me know if you think he sounds like Cliff. I think he does and I think he should have been a pop singer!

I suppose he has a slight ring to Cliff, but more deeper voice, I think.

Is that the new Meatloaf album Robert? Heard there was one.

Bay City Rollers - Dedication. I can't believe it's been 40 years this month since I entered 7th grade and this was the first album I bought on the third weekend of that month. This is the one that contains the best version in my opinion of "I Only Want To Be With You", well that's according to my then 12 year old self.
