The feature on Lena Horne in this month's "spotlight on" has been very well researched, and is a very interesting read. Lena is a true ICON, who had a rather disappointing beginning to her career, especially in the movie business (were she was not allowed a "star" performance) but her ability shone through. The feature on Lena also rather surprisingly mentions Eleanor Powell 8) 8) :D :D who appeared in the film "The Duchess of Idaho" with Lena Horne in 1950 :D :D Lena Horne was 90 years young yesterday :D :D :D :D
