Happy Mother's Day to you all in the UK ! I went out and got my Mum some flowers and a cake after Mass. The bakery looked at me like I was weird when I told them to write Happy Mother's Day on the cake. I told them in the UK it's Mother's Day.

Our friend in Pittsburg said that Mothers Day in the USA is on May 13th this year.

Lena & Harry, have you ever been to the States? I first went when I was 18 and now I've been more times than I ever dreamt of, been to the East, West & Mid-West & South and it still holds a magic for me.

No Karl, we have friends living in different parts of the States, we just haven't got round to the trip. Another one of those things on our list to do before time runs out

Happy Mother's Day to all the Mum's today. Lovely meal this evening with my two big sons, and even an little bouquet from the waiter at the restaurant! Chocs and Flowers earlier from our three children. A great day!

Karl yep I will in May! Then again Mum is Mum and everyday should be Mother and Father's Day.
