SPECIAL DAYS IN DECEMBER.

All of us members of the forum will be remembering today the 1st of December, which would have been dear Matt's 82nd Birthday. The One and only Matt Monro, who brought joy to millions and we are thinking today particularly of Michele, Matt Jnr, and Max, and of course, the love of Matt's life, Mickie.

I think we all know how hard these special days are-no matter how many years have passed, --thinking of Michele and family and remembering Matt.

Today my sister, Jill is 58 years old. She was married on her 18th birthday, so of course today she would have her 40th wedding anniversary.
Sadly her husband died over 5 years ago, so you can imagine this is a difficult day for her.

Marian your sister will get through this. I always remember the day my dad died my mum and my sister were sitting shaking with shock as it was very sudden - as for me I was totally numb as I'd spoken to dad on the phone just two hours earlier.
I'm sure having her sisters at hand you will help her get through this day. I hope someone is taking her out for a meal to take her mind off it for awhile?

Working too hard this past week and sadly missed Matt's birthday. My thoughts are with Michele and the Monro family. I turn 51 on Thursday.....how the years go by!! Holiday time on Tuesday, driving up to Pitlochry to my favourite part of Perthshire.Should be slowing down at my age, but thankfully still have a job to keep me fit.

Advanced Happy Birthday Rob! You're gonna be as young as my eldest brother!
Karl, the pills take getting use to just make sure if you have a bad reaction let the doctor know ASAP.

So far all is well Eamon but I know to do that as I read the leaflet, also many years ago in my 20's I had a bad reaction to penicillin.
