Christmas Greetings

Post by Michele Monro » Wed Dec 26, 2012 12:06 pm

I do hope everyone had a fabulous day yesterday and are taking it somewhat easier today. My son still insists on a Christmas stocking (yes he is 20 years old) and while sneaking through the hallway at 1.00am with stocking in tow I knocked my small toe on the wheel of my hand luggage. Let me tell you it is extremely hard cooking with a broken toe. Yes like an absolute lemon, I have managed to break it a week before leaving on my next cruise. Apart from the fact it is really really really painful (that means it hurts a lot for anyone that didn't quite take that in) I can't put a shoe on at the moment and can't contemplate driving (did I mention it was my right leg). The good news is that I'm told that although it takes 4-6 weeks to heal properly the intense pain will ebb off in just over a week - so there's lot to look forward to!

Apart from that small drama, we all had a wonderful time although Matt, like most of the nation has gone down with the flu. I've been working flat out as usual and in the next few days you will see the launch of my new project on the website. Richard is just finishing off the finer points for me and will upload everything very soon. I'd very much like to hear your feedback.

Frustratingly I am still waiting on placements for Royal Caribbean, Saga and P&O so I have been unable to take the arrangements of 'Fans Reunited' any further but I'll see what transpires over the next four weeks.
In the meantime here's wishing everyone a wonderful 2013 and I'll see you on the other side.

Warmest wishes to everyone in the Forum.
Michele

Michele I am wincing at the thought of your mishap, I have banged my small toe (and others) several times and just a knock is painful so to break it must be worse -were you barefooted? You'lll have to treat yourself to a pair of commando boots or else move your luggage!

Hope it improves before your cruise.

Many years ago I fell downstairs in the office and tore the ligaments in my foot - -THAT was painful and after a few days my foot turned black & blue.

...I'm sure we all agree you will be a shoe-in (or is that shoe-on ) for the above, Michele.

Happy belated Christmas and early New Year to All.

After all the mishaps you have had this year we think you will probably be glad to see the back of 2012. Having said that though you have still got some fantastic memories (the accident free ones!) of all your travels and the celebration of Max & Justine's engagement.

We wish you and all the family and Richard all the very best that 2013 can bring.

:D :D
