Here's to Hull City set fair
for a premiership future;

:D :D :D :D

Keith, I wondered if you might mention yesterdays achievement by the Tigers :) :) .............the achievement was all over the news last night :) :) ..............but what a tense afternoon it was, we were up, down, up, down, up, down, up, down, and finally up .......PHEW :!: ............missing a late penalty to make it safe at 3 -1 then conceding an even later penalty ourselves just added to all the tension :!:

Steve Bruce is a good manager and without him I don't think we would have made the Premier League.

I hope our stay is longer this time than the two years we had in the top flight last time.

Thank you for posting Keith :) :) ....................Hull, Britains city of culture in four years ? .................we should use our posh name.............Kingston upon Hull............. sounds much better ................ :)

The Tigers suffered a few ups and downs before finally
flopping over the premiership line, Robert. It is a fine
achievement by the players and manager on meagre
resources. They will need a couple of strikers and sound
financial support to survive at the top level. Witness QPR
(though they did spend, albeit unwisely) and Reading.
Kingston-upon-Hull are highly fancied to win the City of Culture
prize in 2017. They lost out narrowly to Derry last time.
It would be a proud double; premiership club and City of Culture.

Keith, Kingston Upon Hull may not be in the Premier League by 2017 :( ..............which would be a great shame if we were to be the City of Culture then

Hull Citys owner Assam Allam has spent £66 million on the club so far in just two years..............£27 million of that amount was to save us going into administration after our financial mess after being relegated from the Premier League last time.......................there is a £120 million windfall to all clubs in the Premeir League next season, which helps :)

I am very disapointed that you haven't mentioned Leeds United, Robert. ;)
You going up was simply because of our magnificent win at Watford.

I will let you buy me drink sometime.

Gray, I cannot believe how Leeds Utd defended their goal near the end against Watford, it was as though their lives depended on it, all that effort just to help the Tigers into the Premier League :D :D ...........a BIG thank you to Paddy Kenny and to Leeds United (the 2nd best team in Yorkshire) .............

We should have wrapped up the win against Cardiff City with the penalty awarded in injury time, which should have made it safe at 3-1, but Proshwitz missed it

SORRY, I mistakenly thought this topic was about TIGER WOODS
who is also returning to top form in the last few golf tourneys.
This weekend it's the Players' Cup where he has won before...
In fact he is only one stroke behind the leader, D.Lingwerth(?).
I predict he will win it all tomorrow
