THE STORIES OF 2 BABIES.

Post by mariana44 » Tue Jul 23, 2013 10:23 am

Yesterday, the Queen had a new great grandson. Yesterday my sister had a new great grandson. This is where the similarity ends.

The Royal baby will live a very privliged life and want for nothing, A different story for Alfred George, great grandson of my sister.

Caroles grandson Billy, the baby's father, was 20 years old last month--his "girlfriend" is 10 years older than him, and already has a 5 year old son. Although Billy has had one or 2 jobs he is not working now, because " if he gets another job and loses it, it will look bad on his cv." [his words]

He is quite happy to spend half his benefits on a dvd, rather than buy a baby sterilising unit, because "I do not think they are any good " his words. And he seems to spend most of his waking hours playing games on his Smartphone.

His mum Susannah, has been round to their place several times to help clean and tidy up, but each time she goes back it is worse than before, and it is impossible to get in the bathroom. Billy will not got out of bed before noon !!

He thought it was a good idea to buy a Smart Phone and a big screen tv, rather than pay the gas and electric bills, so they were cut off, and now they have to buy tokens for their gas etc. However, every £10.00 spent on a token gives them just £3.00 worth of power, as the rest goes into paying off the bills. They cannot afford to buy more tokens ,so at the moment , have no hot water, and cannot even make a cup of tea.

I fear for this little baby, and just wonder how many others there are like Billy, who are quite content to stay in bed half the day and rely on benefits-and maybe next year, another baby to get more child benefit. What is this country coming to. Susannah has always worked hard-and she is at her wits end. . I do not know the answer, except to say that giving out handouts non stop is not the answer--but what do you do when a baby is involved.??

He had a brainwave today and paid to see a psychic !! He was told that he needs to get his act together and find a job. I could have told him that for nothing !!

Marian I had to deal with people like that for most of my life in the Jobcentre, they think the world owes them a living.

What puzzles me is why a woman ten years his senior is putting up with all of this? He has money to spend on things they can live without but not for necessities, why have his baby when he's never grown up himself?

As you say, it's the baby I feel sorry for.

SUCCESSION SECURED

An arrival marked by thunderclaps of joy;
onto the scene an unsuspecting boy;
news that did round the world reverberate,
a firstborn gift for William and Kate,
where privacy will be an abstract thing -
a life lived literally like a king.
In a climate marked by much uncertainty,
one wonders what kind of kingdom his will be.

I do not know his girlfriend-but I think she is in the same boat as he is--been on benefits all her working life, and no intention of coming off !!

OMG Mariana, we have those types here also. They rather be on the dole as they think the world owes them. It's not the children that I fault but the parents who don't even move to do anything, then they wonder why their children wind up being troubled. Ugh!!!
