The barriers on a level crossing came down and this pensioner was walking towards it - still a little way off.
When he got to the barrier he ducked underneath and crossed the railway line, as he got to the second line he saw the train was very close and moved faster but not fast enough, the train caught his back and he fell but quickly go up. He was carrying a supermarket type bag which he dropped as he obviously felt some pain, I'm betting he has a very sore and bruised back.
What shocked me even more was the two cars who were waiting to cross over never stopped to ask how he was and to get an ambulance but a motor cyclist came off his bike and took him to one side out of camera range, maybe to slap some sense into the man - I don't know.

What can be so urgent to dodge over a crossing when you know a train is due? I have to drive over one a mile before my sister's house - sometimes you have to wait around five minutes before the train comes, you DO NOT argue with a speeding train.
That man's guardian angel must have been looking after him well, I doubt he will never be that lucky again.
