MY NEIGHBOURS COLLEAGUE

Post by karl » Sun May 18, 2014 5:50 pm

Just a few weeks ago my neighbour told me of a colleague who had taken early retirement, she flew to New Zealand as her daugher-in-law had terminal cancer. When she was there she though she had taken a stroke and saw her doctor on her return, he sent her for a scan and within hours they called for her to come to the hospital right away.

The woman had a tumour and was given 12 weeks to live, sadly she only had six and her funeral is this week -she is only about 60.

Makes you just want to enjoy life , doesn't it?

Her poor son must be doubly devastated losing his wife and his mother within a few months.

That's tragic Karl, and makes us realize how fragile life is. :(
