Michele, congratulations on this fantastic interview and thank you so much for giving us the opportunity to listen in to this lovely story of your Dad, even though we are pretty familiar with his musical career e.t.c. We were really impressed by your confident answers, and what a nice interviewer from down under too.
We really enjoyed it, thank you again :)

Oh, not much gets past me Michele.

Now, didn't we see that here somewhere. ?? :?

Hi Edgar, you can hear the interview if you go to the radio web address that Michele gave us www.radiofremantle.com on the menu on the left click on to Programe Archives. Scroll up to Tuesday and the first programme is the Breakfast Show that starts at 6'oclock which you will see is in three parts, and although the interview doesn't begins until 7'oclock, it actually starts on the Part 1 with Matt's "Born Free" and then continues and finishes on part 2.
You can skip the earlier part of the Part 1 programme by moving the green and white counter along until you come to hear Born Free.
It's all worth while, a nice interview with Michele and Bob Edwards :D

Thanks for that Lena and harry. Just listened to it, the interviewer was a bit muffled, but Michele was very clear. A very interesting interview especially the bit about Matt Jr's tour to Oz.

Lena & Harry

May I say thank you also for pointing out that you could listen to the interview using the archieve feature, I would of missed it otherwise!

I still find it amazing that the concert DVD released last year came from a film that was lying in a cannister in a garage for nearly 40 years!!!
How lucky we are that the film never perished. I
have a friend who works in installing digital cinema equipment and the resoration of cinemas and he has told me stories of finding reels of feature films in cinemas that have either deteriated or are damaged beyond repair.
I realise the fact that the film is black and white and probably hasn't been run through a projector since the first day it was printed have helped, but also add that the elements haven't got at it and that it was never thrown away and you have a pretty amazing story!
I think so anyway!
I would love to know why it was shot, ie, for which audience was it intended? Television? Cinema?
Anyway, thanks again for pointing out the archieve feature!

Hi Edgar and Gray, glad that you were able to hear Michele's interview.
The playback feature is available for seven days, like the BBC which we find so useful. The lost canister with the concert with Matt after all those years was a great find, we love it, and the news about the "Rare Monro" was music to our ears, and so was Desmond Carrington last evening with ,
" People" :) Matt's version of course.
