We were saddened to hear this news of Bobby Robson.
A lovely man who lived for the game of football and contributed so much during his career as a player and manager.

Very sad news, he was greatly loved my so many.
I like the Sun's headline tribute to him this morning.. "Away The Lad." :)

SIR BOBBY ROBSON

An idealist has now taken his leave,
a prince not held by cynicism in thrall,
a player who kept a true eye on the ball
and proudly wore the game's heart on his sleeve.

We have just watched Gary Linekar paying tribute to Bobby Robson on TV. Interesting but at the same time sad.
