What shocking news that Boyzone star Stephen Gately has died suddenly while on holiday with his partner on holiday in Majorca. He was only 33 years old.
Apparently, the rest of the band will be flying out there today.
R.I.P. Stephen.

Yes, that was the first piece of news that we heard this morning Marian. A great shame.
A shock to his family, friends and the rest of the band.

I'll echo the other comments here. Stephen was a talented singer and seemed a really nice guy. My thoughts are with his partner and families at this sad and tragic time.

Just watched Stephen Gately's funeral on TV from his home street in Dublin. Very sad and emotional. Ronan Keating's words were particularly moving.
