Songs with a geographic location in their title

Post by michduncg » Sat Dec 23, 2006 12:49 am

Well, as we this seems to be the current trend in quizes on here, how about one that contains a specific reference to a geographical location in their title. The title must refer to an actual location, and not a general reference e.g. 'Penny Lane' or 'A nightingale sang in Berkeley Square' would qualify, as would 'From Russia with love' but 'On the street where you love' and 'The Avenues and Alleyways' would not, as they don't name the Streets, Avenues or Alleyways! So 'Tin Pan Alley' would qualify! All clear!

So in addition to the above, I will also add '42nd Street'

So get your globes, atlases, A-Z or TomToms out and get writing!
