Sad to hear the news that actress Susannah York has passed away at the age of 72. She was suffering from cancer.
R.I.P. Susannah. :(

More sad news about Susannah !! I remember seeing her in the fiim "Gold" in the cimema-at the beginning a miner got trapped in the mine, and had to have his leg amputated, and George nearly fainted and we had to leave the cinema---so I did not see the whole film till it came on TV--great film and Susannah was a lovely actress.

RIP Susanne :( ..............she played Christopher Reeves mum in two Superman films :)

She did, Robert.
Superman's mum and I remember her in The Battle of Britain too.
Very sad.
