Jerry Vale -- 16 Most Requested Songs

Beautiful voice. So underrated. I hope he's not becoming forgotten.

That's good to hear, John. My favorite is Pretend You Don't See Her.

I prefer his Old Cape Cod over Patti Page's version. I know she is another one of your favourites.

I have a live CD of Jerry Vale at Carnegie Hall. I feel I'm sitting in the hall every time I listen to it. It's that good. I've mentioned this before, but he sang the National Anthem at a Cleveland baseball game. I was still a kid and didn't know who he was! My parents told me of his popularity and excellent singing.

I think Jerry Vale has a great voice but maybe he is being forgotten more and more these days 🙁 ……. funny how John spelt favourite without the “u” and Paul spelt it with the “u” ……should be the other way round 😉

Yes Paul, he sings Old Cape Cod very nicely and I love his version of In The Chapel In The Moonlight (which I think I have mentioned on the forum several times). And again yes, I like Patti Page very much too.

That was the automatic spelling check that did that Robert, I did write it with the "u" in it but the spelling check came in. I thought I was correct the first time. :?
