Beautiful voice. So underrated. I hope he's not becoming forgotten.

That's good to hear, John. My favorite is Pretend You Don't See Her.
I prefer his Old Cape Cod over Patti Page's version. I know she is another one of your favourites.
I have a live CD of Jerry Vale at Carnegie Hall. I feel I'm sitting in the hall every time I listen to it. It's that good. I've mentioned this before, but he sang the National Anthem at a Cleveland baseball game. I was still a kid and didn't know who he was! My parents told me of his popularity and excellent singing.

I think Jerry Vale has a great voice but maybe he is being forgotten more and more these days
……. funny how John spelt favourite without the “u” and Paul spelt it with the “u” ……should be the other way round

Yes Paul, he sings Old Cape Cod very nicely and I love his version of In The Chapel In The Moonlight (which I think I have mentioned on the forum several times). And again yes, I like Patti Page very much too.paul jh wrote: ↑Fri Nov 04, 2022 11:38 amThat's good to hear, John. My favorite is Pretend You Don't See Her.

That was the automatic spelling check that did that Robert, I did write it with the "u" in it but the spelling check came in. I thought I was correct the first time.
