in the early days i loved it ...Radio one road show ...and of course the music that was around then ....Ken Bruce on radio two sort of re-enacts the era with the music played ...and i love it...espeacially when they play Matt... Steve Wrights really informative with his factoid section :D Radio one was very prevalent for the likes of us as MTV and all thee rest of it was not around of course...and the arguments with my dear Dad because we wanted to watch Top Of The Pops and he wanted to watch Six Million Dollar Man (quite rightly so ...he payed the licence fee) .....no videos etc in those days :lol: ....those were the days 8) (but we were happy :D )

Apologies if that has been posted elsewhere and I have missed it.

Steve Wright played 'We're Gonna Change The World' on his afternoon show yesterday.
Great to hear it on Radio 2 on such a high profile show.

Just heard Matt on Steve Wright's oldies half hour 3 to3.3o with Walk Away and Steve saying what a great singer Matt was, also he was on last Tuesday the same half hour with Gonna Change The World FABULOUS.

Did any one hear the guy on Ken Bruces 'pop quiz' doing the '3 in ten' this morning?He was asked to name three singles by Matt Monro- he couldn't name any! :( :roll:

We heard it Sandra we were in the car on our way to the cinema and Ken was just starting to say name 3 in 10 of and Graham said having a bit of fun Matt Monro and then Ken said the name we never exspected that to happen.

But he didn't know them poor man.

And now WALK AWAY again on Sunday Love Songs with Steve Wright saying 'The great Matt Monro'

Also 'We're Gonna Change The World' on Anneka Rice yesterday :D
