Don't you like sport Marian ? ..............I love sport :) ................after all, there are what seems like hundreds of those Antique style programmes on TV at the moment  ..........now that is what I call rather boring

Yes, you are right about the antiques programmes Robert, and I do like some sports, but in moderation.. tennis, football, snooker, darts, but I don't like it when regular programmes are taken off and replaced with sport. Saturday last week was rugby most of the afternoon and evening followed by football. It's just not on!.... but it was!!!
I forgot motor racing... have to be up by 6a.m to watch the Australian Grand Prix tomorrow, in it's allotted time spot!
Don't forget to put your clocks forward.

Sport is OK-it's all those commentators talking, discussing etc.
Antique programmes are generally only on during'off-peak'viewing times.
Apart from THE ANTIQUE ROADSHOW.I don't regard'CASH IN THE ATTIC',CAR BOOTY'and the simply dreadful'ANTIQUE HOUSE PARTY'as'Antiques'progs.

I loved James Braxton's M.G.T.D,but it was rather odd in not having a hood only a tonneau cover.I also noticed the front bumper was slightly out of alignment.
OOPS!Am I becoming an anorak? :D

They'd probably left the hood at home Mark, just for the programme of course, and so that you could notice it!

You've got my number-Marian-I think it's a strange restoration as the original T.D.definitely had a windscreen and proper hood.James'has twin aero windscreens.
It didn't help their buying and good to see one of the group eventually got a parking ticket! :D

The aero windscreens were optional extras Mark.

But there was nowhere to attach the'proper'windscreen?

I thought the final was the best part-I loved Mark Stacey's table cabinet and James Lewis's escritoire should have brought more profit.Anita's silver mirror was a beat.too.
Silly Charles Hanson came nowhere,as I expectedsome expert!
Now for the new Antique programme starting this week.Judging by the oft-repeated 'trailer',it doesn't bode well!
Blessings for BBC FOUR this week. :D

We did notice that Mark. Obviously the car has been restored and customised to the customer's requirements.
Didn't catch much of the final unfortunately.

The'final'was rather oddly slotted into an afternoon slot-I agree about the mods.to the T.D.-I thought the Austin-Healey looked over restored too. :D
