I'll GET BY, one of my favourite songs Sandra. Judy Garland's father used to sing this to her. Ahhhh. Jerry Vales version is also fantastic.
Another GREAT NUMBER, ,..." WHEN YOU LOSE THE ONE YOU LOVE," very close between DOROTHY SQUIRES and DAVID WHITFIELD., but probably DOROTHY SQUIRES.

STILL CRAZY AFTER ALL THESE YEARS---
Paul Simon---Karen Carpenter.
Although Paul's version is much more widely known than Karen's rarely [never !!] heard version-I prefer Karen.

SOPHISTICATED LADY, ... all the greats recorded this one, every one fantastic, Billy Eckstine, Sarah Vaughan, Ella Fitzgerald, but Sarah Vaughan gets the edge.

Re: Two Versions of Same Song - Your Favourite
FOR ALL WE KNOW---lots of great versions of this song-in fact I cannot think of a bad one--
Johnny Mathis-{ only ever released on a very rare 7" }-Matt Monro--Ray Conniff----really close call--
I cannot decide!!!!

"ALL I WANT IS A CHANCE" - Al Martino or dick Lee. Both are "Big" Vocals, but dick Lee barely edges Al
Also _ dick Lee is alive and healthy....Living in Santa Clarita, Ca
"PRISONER OF LOVE" - Perry Como or Russ Columbo...My choice - the original = Russ (from 1935!!)

HOW SOON......Matt Monro, and Julie Rogers both made good recordings of this one. This was a close one, but the vote goes to Matt

Re: Two Versions of Same Song - Your Favourite
TOO LATE NOW--
Jane Powell [original version], Shirley Bassey, Jack Jones--
It has to be Jack Jones.

Re: Two Versions of Same Song - Your Favourite
I was reminded of this one as Shirley Jones is in the country at present and appearing on Radio and tv,
A great song, recordings by Sinatra, Crosby, Ray Charles, and a great duet Sammy Davies Jnr and Carmen MacRae
PEOPLE WILL SAY WE'RE IN LOVE. .. but the best version of all is Shirley Jones and Gordon Macrae from Oklahoma,
