Unwanted Visitor Solution

I one again find myself in the awkward position of offering up my sincere apologies for the invasion of unwanted postings especially over the last few days. I am sorry for any offence caused. Whatever the case, if you spot one of these postings please do not click the links, usually there is malicious virus attached.

Having said that I have now been able to stop people for registering without my approval and the process can take up to 48 hours to implement. I think that would stop undesirables bothering to try and register.

I would receive an e-mail informing me that someone wanted to join the memberlist, they would then need my approval before gaining entry.

We have effected a dummy registration to make sure the process works and I am hoping it will put a stop to this nonsense.

Please bear with me, and be good enough to let me know if you come across any that I may have missed previously. Once again my sincere apologies - Let's hope we can go back to enjoying and talking about the music.

Thanks very much Michele for all that you do, and are doing to prevent this unwanted material on the forum, also for the apologies, but no need for apologies as far as we are concerned. It's not your fault and certainly not your fault that there are people of this nature out there who simply refuse to get the message into their sawdust brains.

Thats great news. No need to apologise on behalf of those numpties like posting that rubbish! It sounds a sensible solution, and one I'm sure we all appreciate. Thanks for taking the problem so seriously and acting so quickly.
