I agree with you all. My favourites are still Danielle and Jessica, though I like Bronte too.

Did anyone carch "West End Story" yesterday--BBC in the afternoon--I only caught the last 20 minutes or so. All about what happened after "Maria" "Joseph" and "Nancy". But I caught up with it today on bbc Iplayer, and really enjoyed it.

I watched it tonight Marian. It was reminders of the previous winners of Nancy, Joseph and Maria and some of the runners up to these winners who had made good for themselves in the theatre since.
As good as Jodie Prenger was and is now I could have done without seeing most of those overdone embarassing scenes of her crying and carrying on again  I skipped most of that.
Nothing special or very different to what we had already seen.

I really enjoyed it but did wonder how 'Maria' was getting on now as I think she had to cancel her tour a while back because of poor ticket sales?? :(

Still enjoying the 'Dorothy' show although I will be pleased to see them acting and maybe singing a musical theatre song

I am still enjoying "Dorothy " too-although I am finding that some of them look-and sound-very similar to each other--I am beginning to like Dani more now-I think Emilie may go tonight.

Another enjoyable show tonight, although we were surprised at the Two in the sing off. We thought that Bronte had such a good voice, althought tonight wasn't the best that we've heard from her.
We do admire the way they sing like they do after being booted off.
Still don't understand how Emile is still there after being voted off :o

I was disappointed to see Bronte go. My favourite remains Danielle.

I didn't see the "West End Story" programme you refer to but would be interested to know what Connie Fisher is doing now. I also saw a report saying that her one-woman show had been cancelled because of poor ticket sales; she did well, but is she just a one trick pony? The same thought occurs to me about Jodie Prenger - good as Nancy, yes, but can she do anything else? You can't build a career on just one part.

Yes, I was surprised to see Bronte go-although I did not like her performance-if she had been against anyone else she may have been saved--but she did well-no tears!!!

It is difficult to know what Connie and Jodie are doing now--but I was surprised to hear the Niamh Perry--from "Nancy" was in ALW's new musical, and is apparently the first voice that is heard.

If anyone has not checked out Nianmh on Youtube, she sings "On My own" in concert-just beautiful-especially for a young girl, as she is.

Well, Dani was voted off tonight.
Still sad to see this happen after having to put in so much hard work all week with the different dances, but that's how it works.
I thought it would be Emille who would go. We think Stephanie or Steph have a good chance now :)

I was sorry to see Dani go-I did not think she was the worst by a long way.

I heard Jodie tonight, in for Paul O'Grady-I thought she was quite good-and she played Matt -singing "My Kind of girl"

I was sorry to see Dani go tonight, She obviously wanted to stay so much and she had a Dorothy face I thought.
I think Emilie is getting the sympathy vote now as the panel were unkind to her last week.
We carried on watching Country File after the show tonight and the final eleven girls were on there visiting a farm, feeding lambs and mucking out the pigs! They worked very hard according to the farmer.
Maybe Andrew thought it would be character building!

Nice idea of ALW's wasn't it. I wonder where he learned his character building. I bet it wasn't raking over pigs S... Ahhhm.. muck. :D :D

Like you, I was surprised that Emilie wasn't in the bottom two and that Dani was, but I guess this is a good example of the public deliberately taking a contrary line from the panel just to be awkward. I was even more surprised - and gutted - that Danielle was in the sing-off: she's my favourite! Anyway, I was pleased ALW saved Danielle (though I did think Dani maybe put a little bit more into her sing-off performance) and hope she goes on to win; she looks the part, and is the cutest (if you see what I mean). Can't see Emilie or Sophie lasting much longer.

Emilie is quite shocking in comparison to the others, blasted British habit of voting for the underdog strikes again (the John Sargent Syndrome).

I thought however that Dani had already decided she had lost and was actually going to pieces during the sing off - I didn't think she was performing with emotion I thought it was her on the verge of tears.

I like Danielle too but can see no clear winner, where as I spotted all the previous three as potential winners from the auditions onwards.
