I thought of "The Sound of Silence", but don't think Matt recorded it.

No, it's not The Sounds Of Silence. It would have been great if Matt Monro had recorded The Sounds Of Silence.

Nightime Friends was a good opposite title, which I would never have gotten!

Another clue: "We" is first person plural. What pronoun is first person singular? That would be the first word of the title. Also think more about the EP (which has been discussed on this message board recently) and Fans Reunited attendee's favourite song clue (especially Marian from Kent and Gray). I'm really giving it away now!

This has really got us stumped, Paul. If it is from an EP it must be a sixtie's track?

Yes, it's from a 1960s EP. I believe you've written about it recently. It's a favourite of many and is in my top 15 Matt Monro songs.

Again, my antonym title is probably not the greatest. But at least your thinking caps are on!

The only thing I can think of is I LOVE YOU TOO, this has been mentioned recently and I think is on an ep.

I've never heard of those two songs John, so it's not them.

It's a famous song and considered one of his greatest vocal performances.

Are you at 1000 postings yet, John?

You got it, Marian. It is Joan's favourite song, I Have Dreamed. Remember our conversation at breakfast at the Premier Travel Inn where we were discussing our favourite Matt Monro recordings and Joan said hers was I Have Dreamed. And the I Have Dreamed EP has been discussed a few times in the forum. The song title is kind of the opposite of We Don't Talk Anymore.

We're anxiously awaiting your antonym song title, Marian.

Congratulations on your big 1000th posting, John!

I was kind of confused there, as it appeared as though you said you had never heard of "I have dreamed" or "If I never sing another song" so I have been racking my brains again. But now I see you were referring to Johns song.

Well, I am glad I got that one right--just lucky I think.

Here is my new one for you to guess.

" Forever sunshine"

Is it "Rain Sometimes" Marian :?:
"My Tears Will Fall Now That You're Gone,
I Can't Help But Cry, But I Must Go On" :(
