We have always enjoyed Warners holidays Mark, but although we haven't been to Littlecote ourselves, we know people who have, and they have spoken highly of it. The setting looks beautiful too from the brochure.
As john said it would be nice to hear how you enjoy Al. He is a true professional act.
We shall be seeing him first on the 14th.

I have spotted on Amazon that Petula Clark is appearing in Warners this summer--I do not know where or when.

"My Tears Will Fall Now That You're Gone,
I Can't Help But Cry, But I Must Go On" :(

It was great to hear Al on Eric Hall's show today. Eric's signature song to introduce his Sunday show is Frankie Laine's "Making Memories." Today he also played Al's recording of "Making Memories" and "Speak Softly Love" from the movie "The Godfather" and "The Shadow Of Your Smile. Al spoke of the great reception he received in Harrogate last night, the first engagement of his tour here.
Get booked if you can folks. Al is just magnificent.

Hi Lena and Harry, do I have to download a particular file to be able to play this? I can get the web page up but it won't play the programmes, I can't even listen to the radio live. Sorry to be a pain, but haven't done this before.

Yes we are at Southend on Wednesday John. Anyway, glad that you managed to hear the interview. Eric didn't mention it last week, so obviously wasn't sure about the interview until Al arrived today for this evening's show.
" Making Memories " is on the "Mary In The Morning" album John. Also Al recorded Matt's "Walk Away" in the 60s on the Capitol album "This Is Al Martino" he does sing it superbly.. and then was re-released with the title "Yesterday" but minus this song "Walk Away".

I found the track on the Mary In The Morning lp, thanks Lena and Harry. I have heard him sing Walk Away, I think I have it on an old boxed set somewhere, it would be nice if they released a few more of these original albums on cd.
