Wow--I was not really sure of that--just the clue about the opposite of sand gave it to me.

I shall get a new one sorted out for tomorrow.

You may think this next one is difficult--but once you know the answer, it will make sense--hopefully!!

If Paul has not heard this name, he will find it tricky, so I may expand on the clue later--unless one of you have got it before then--so here goes--
This is the clue

"Hayley Mills"

Wow. Lena and Harry---spot on--very well done---!!!

"Mary's Boy Child" it is. I cannot believe it has gone so quickly.

To explain-- Hayley is the GROWN-UP DAUGHTER of JOHN--{opposite of Mary} Mills.

I thought that was a real toughie--but obviously not.

Your turn to try and outwit us.

I'd thought of "Pretty Polly" too Lena and Harry. My thinking was Hayley Mills was in Whistle Down the Wind and Pollyanna. Parrots whistle and are called Pretty Polly!! Q.I.D. but it's probably wrong anyway...
Your turn if it's right.

Marian, Hayley Mills appeared with Trevor Howard in the film " Pretty Polly "in the 60s so that was the thought mainly. And of course her Mother was Mary Hayley Bell.
Anyway here's an easy one until my brain cells get stirring.

I did not know that Hayley Mills was in a film called "Pretty Polly", so it is even more clear how you both thought of that one. I did know that John Mills wife was Mary Hayley Bell-another reason I chose him.

I think it is Marian's turn to think up a clue.

Here's one then, it's my second choice as I'd done one for "Look For Small Pleasures" but it was an almost identical clue to Marian's earlier one!

You don't like missed opportunities..
