I agree, guessing these lyrics remains a challenge. Getting the rhythm correct is the hardest part.

Are you reading a Buddy Bregman biography or an article in In Tune International perhaps? It would be interesting to read his impressions about the musicians and singers' vocal abilities, but I'm not interested in gossip. I have placed many of the classic singers on pedestals and I want to focus on their singing and not their personal lives.

The Buddy Bregman story is on his own web-site Paul beginning with how his own career took off. Articles from London newspapers and interviews during his tenure as BBC television producer and director and his work and encounters with the famous singers and musicians along the way.

No I never drink during the day Lena and Harry, it would spoil it for the evening. I'm not a big drinker, just a couple of pints, maybe three when I am pushing the boat out. :) :) 8)

And tonight it may only be 1 pint plus a couple of cokes as I am going to my Aunts first thing in the morning, it is about 65 miles, but the roads will be nice and quiet at 7.00am in the morning with it being Sunday. :) :) 8)

Have a nice day at your Aunts John. Getting out early on the road is always the best bet. You could be there in time for breakfast John.

Yes, I usually have a couple of slices of toast with home made marmalade and a lovely cup of New Mills tea, (that is where she lives)when I get there, I have always said that no one else makes tea like her it is so good I never want to take the cup away from my mouth! :D
