Fan Club Meet

It has been suggested that some of you would be interested in possibly meeting up later in the year. Sort of a Fan Club Meet. Is that something you might be interested in joing in? If so please let me have your comments and suggestions. I cannot promise anything as yet but if you feel strongly about it I will look ino what might be organised.

Although I realise this is tricky for Matt's many fans who live overseas, I would be very interested in a Fan Club Meet.

It would be smashing to meet Michelle, other fans, and perhaps someone from EMI.

Possibly somewhere where we could have a meal - handy for people who have travelled especially for the day.

We also think a Fan Club meet later in the year is a really nice idea.
We understand that London is to be the locality as originally mentioned and Glenn has suggested a meal. We'll also put out thinking caps on and browse around, but will be happy with whatever is decided.

Sorry have not managed to work on that at the moment. I am rushing to finalise the Nelson Riddle/Matt Monro release 1st April and the Night Owl release in May.

Any more info on the Fan Club meet yet please?

Could we tie this in with one of Matt Jnr's concerts in the autumn? We could go to dinner before the concert and for drinks after. Or we can have a two day event: Matt Jnr's concert one evening and dinner the other.

I'm not very familiar with the concert sites, but there's probably one near London, Birmingham, or Bristol (easiest to access for the overseas folks). I know I can get almost anywhere within the U.K. with National Express. My only request is that's there a hotel near the concert site. If we just do dinner in London, there are many hotel options.

Who knows...if this is successful, perhaps we could do a Fred. Olsen or QE2 cruise next year!
