I can only echo what you both say, Lena and Harry. It is obvious that Shaun and Trisha should make the final--but the great British Public is unpredictable on phone voting. If they both get through, it would be difficult to pick a winner, but I would go for Trisha. I am not sure why.

On saying that, it would not surprise me if Tara came through and won !!

With Tara and Tricia sitting up half the night toasting each other with champagne it's a wonder they manage to sing at all.

Yes I agree that Shaun should have gone through--but on the other hand it was no big surprise to see Tara go through.

And when all is said and done Tricia and Shaun have both had loads more singing experience, and started with good voices. Tara had none of these, but she has been hanging in there!! Not sure how !!!

My favourite bit is where Shaun was singing to his little girl on the phone-"Daddys Home"--- and you could hear her joining in on the other end of the phone.

We were quite surprised at how nervous and hung up Shaun appeared to be all the way through. We saw him in a series on TV ( can't think of the name right now) a kind of countdown competitive show with Jools Holland where he was singing and full of confidence. This obviously got to him more.

I think the judges undermined their confidence quite a lot during this series, especially Shaun and Tricia. They both started off confidently but after a few blunt criticisms, especially from Richard Parks, you could almost sense the confidence slipping away. Especially with certain underdogs doing so well. :? :?
Tricia to win, to at least keep some sense of sensibility in the show.

The judges were very hard on Shaun and Trisha becuase of their previous experience---and the others had to be judged on the improvements that they had made, I guess. Because when it comes to it--there is just no comparison between Trisha and Zoe for instance---or between Shaun and Fred!!

On the lunch time news they showed what was going on in preparation for the big night in store, and they managed to catch up with Emma Freud talking to Tara who said she was feeling excited but so very tired.
Reminds us, we must try and stay awake after our dinner to watch it.

Marian, you were right with your prediction of Tara possibly winning. Our thoughts and opinions on that verdict were pretty much the same as for the rest of the show to be honest. Charity or no charity
