STACEY SOLOMON

Post by mariana44 » Thu May 27, 2010 4:38 pm

Has anyone heard Stacey singing "At last" yet---she sang it on the "X factor", but is now recoding a single of it--with The Squadronaires, it is also incuded on their new cd.

I never really liked this song too much--but I just love Stacey singing it, and I will definately be buying it.

I just hope they do not try and drive her down the "Pop Singer" road---we have enough of those--but there is noone of Staceys age, who can sing that type of song so well--personally, I would never buy Leona Lewis or Alexandra Burke, but Stacey is completely different.

Out on Monday apparently.

By the way-the Squadronaires cd is called "In the Mood"--the Glenn Miller songbook--some great tracks on there-also at Amazon on Monday.

I can never catch up with what she is saying but the performance is lovely on 'AT LAST'.
She was on GMTV earlier in the week. :D

I hadn't heard of Stacey Solomon, but just listened to her version of "At Last", ...Brilliant. Jodie Prenger was on David Dickinson's show today, dressed in the army costume Andrew sisters style.. She sang "In The Mood," ..sang it brilliantly too, this single that is a free download is included on "The Very Best Of Glenn Miller" due out on Monday. :)

Lena and Harry-did you not watch X Factor--Stacey was the very first act to be auditioned, and ended in 3rd place behind Joe and Ollie. I think she should have won.

I missed her on GMTV, as I had to go out Monday morning, and although I had taped GMTV, and later watched [ quickly ] all the way through---then realised she was on the Lorraine Kelly show--so I was not impressed-hoping she will turn up on Youtube soon.

Hi Marian, I didn't watch the XFactor religously, but of course now I do remember her.
Have just seen her on Youtube singing "At Last" :)
