Just been checking HMV website. Still no sign of Matts forthcoming 2 on 1 Spanish album, but I found out that HMV have put the price of the "Rare Monro" up by a £1 to £6.99.............................why I wonder :?: It has been £5.99 since it was released last August, so why put the price up now................................odd   :!: :!:

Robert

I'm guessing cos HMV guessed that Matt was less popular than he actually is when the priced the album originally!

I guess it could also be something called inflation.

It could be jon, but none of Matts other CDs appear to have gone up in price   I think £5.99 was an absolute "steal" for a double album. HMV have probably realised their mistake (especially with the album being so popular). Greedy B............................................s

Robert

HMV are in considerable financial difficulties so I guess raising the price of CDs is understandable; having said that, a lot of HMV merchandise has been considerably reduced in price as well. Many DVDs are going for £3 or less. Of course this isn't much help if the price reduction is on something you don't want to buy and the price increase is on items you do want to buy. C'est La Vie.
