The interview I have in my possission, was done in 1967 by a friend of mine, Harry Young, who at the time was a student at University Of San Francisco, majoring in Broadcasting. Matt was in San Francisco at the opening of "Born Free". I have the interview as an mp3 audio file and if you want to give me your email address, I can send it as an attachment. It is about 20 minutes in length.

The Perry Como album I have is titled "The Best Of British". It was done in 1977 when Perry was on tour in Britian. The songs include:

"My Kind Of Girl", "Greensleeves", "Michelle", "A Nightingale San In Berkeley Square", "Someday I'll Find You", "There's A Kind Of A Hush", "The Other Man's Grass Is Always Greener", "Smile", "The Very Thought Of You", "We'll Meet Again".

I'm sure Michele would be interested in a copy Grandpajan, if she doesn't already have one. It might help with some information for her book.

When this web site started, I emailed Michelle about the interview. She was interested so I did send her a copy.

I must have got it wrong, it was obviously My Kind Of Girl that Perry recorded and not Portrait of my Love. Sorry about that! Must have been a senior moment on my part.

I think I have the original LP but it must be ten years or more since I played it!
