John, both Petula Clark and Al Martino were judges on the panel at the "Miss Great Britain" beauty contest in 1955 at Morecambe.
Got a nice enlarged picture of Al wearing his judges rosette. :lol:

Listening to Frances Langford's "April In My Heart" CD tonight - either side of the David Jacob collection 8) 8) David started off with Matts "Come Back To Me" - listened to Russell Davies earlier.

Well Jack is another of the greats of that certain era. Another example of a wonderful singer whose words you could hear and understand. It's not a lot to ask of singers really is it. :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: BUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :roll:

Listening to disc two of the "Rare Monro" - lots of live songs, but there are a couple of beautiful ballads on there, including the lovely "All That Remains" 8)

Thanks to Mike, and especially Marc, I am just about to try to transfer all the music from my old ipod back onto my computer, and onto my new ipod. Everyone keep your fingers crossed for me---I will end up with all---or nothing !!! I will keep you posted !!

I'm listening to disc 2 of Matt Monro Songs of Love, which I'm quite ashamed to say I bought for £1.99 on ebay. Lovely selection of songs on three CDs - what a bargain! :lol: :lol:
