I'll Miss You All

Post by Michele Monro » Sun May 07, 2006 10:46 pm

I'm afraid I am out of the country as of 3.00am and not back until Friday 12th. It will not be possible for me to check in as there are no internet hot spots in the desert!!
Hopefully when I click back on Friday might there will be lots of new messages.
Nice to see some of our original members back in the fold.
Back soon

I'm Back

Post by Michele Monro » Sun May 14, 2006 7:07 pm

A year ago I bought a house off plan in Spain. I thought it might be prudent to see what is happening over there as we are 14 months into th build.
Let's put it this way, I have had to tell them to gut the house, I have made 43 changes and in a three day period it was overcast the whole time.
The thing with off plan is you really don't know what you are getting - except a good investment. It is much smaller than I thought and I will probably have to sell near completion.
You live and learn
I'm back now and want to hear any disaster stories you might have on buying a home, moving or the like. I can't be the only one

I bought in a place called Zurgena in Costa Almeria. You can actually fly into Almeria airport now as well as Murcia, it is inbetween both airports although I have to admit I have no idea of how to find the house - who am I kidding - dirt plot

We recently sold our house in Mijas-just outside Fungerola. With hindsight,we should have bought the whole village! :D
