Hi, I have a few arrangements of Matts, My Kind of girl,One morning in May, If I never sing another song, It's a breeze, and maybe a few more in the pipeline. If you have had any luck finding anything, maybe we could do a few swaps, that goes for anyone else too!
Thanks.

Hi John!
I'm very interested in your arrangement of "If I Never Sing Another Song." I do have the one book published with MM arrangments (the standards) but if I can offer anything else, I'd love to work something out.
Please contact me at the name listed above, @gmail.com
Thanks for the support, and hope to hear from you soon!
Best,
Keith

hi everyone! i'm trying to get hold of some top notch "matt tracks". i've managed to get a few but would really like to find "did it happen" , "gonna build a mountain" , "you've made me so very happy " , "didn't we " and also "if you go away ". any help would be greatly appreciated as i'm intending to use them for the residents of sheltered accomodation in the north west. So, if you can, please help me put a smile on the faces these ladies and gentlemen !!! if you have some tracks that aren't mentioned , don't be shy (!), please let me know !!! many thanks

Backing tracks

Post by John Jenkinson » Mon May 15, 2006 10:53 pm

Just to let you know that there is a great backibg track C.D. out by Pocket Songs called'You sing the hits of Matt Monro' It is a good C.D. as all the tracks are full, real, orchestras not just keyboards. The C.D. no. is PS CDG 1076. They are C.D.+G which means if you have the right equipment the lyrics appear on screen, as they are karaoke tracks, but a cut above the rest.
Tracks are:-
My kind of girl
Softly as I leave you
Around the world
On a clear day
A portrait of my love
If she walked into my life
I'll take romance
Real live girl
You've got possibilities
Come back to me
Wednesday's child
So as you can see, there are some good tracks, not just the usual. I get mine frome a firm called K.D.S. Karaoke, in Chadderton, nr. Manchester, or there is Forsyth's,Deansgate, Manchester.
If you ask for a catalouge, there are literally hundreds of artists listed, loads of our kind of music.
Hope this helps, if you struggle, contact me and I'll do my best to help.
Thanks,
John.
Americans are very good at this kind of thing, but as in most things...........British is Best!
