Terry Hall (Lenny the Lion)

Post by ROBERT M. » Thu Apr 12, 2007 1:28 am

Just to let you all know (the older brigade anyhow) that a favourite childrens TV personality of mine when I was growing up - Terry Hall who worked with the "cuddly" Lenny the Lion - has sadly passed away aged 80. I'm sure most of you remember him from our television screens in the 50's 60's and 70's. He seemed to have such warmth and friendliness in his voice. I remember him fondly and it is sad to know he is no longer with us all :( :(

Cos of your pic Robert, I always assume we are about the same age (I am 40 next month lol). Then I remember that your pic is about 20 years old. Anyway, its nice to know that I must be part of the 'young' brigade!

Yes, we remember Lenny The Lion with Terry Hall. Always a favourite with our son. He appeared on so many shows. Reminded us of the episode of the Rock and Roller in Del boys "Only Fools And Horses."
He couldn't pronounce his Rrrrs.
