Oh, I'm sure you could Robert!  You'd find a way of taking her down a peg or two no doubt, as you do to us here   (Only joking!)

You'll be pleased to hear I've been plugging Matt on the JJ website anyway, that's what I've been up to :!: :!:

I don't mean to put people down Marian, I just correct them from time to time  to be honest, I just like a bit of a laugh and a joke now and again Marian

I very much doubt it will take off like this one has done Robert. I'm sure this will always be the best and the friendliest forum.  I'll be sticking around most days as always..
We know your "corrections" are very much tongue in cheek Robert, I think we've got you pretty much sussed, and enjoy the banter.
Keep up the good work.

Some years ago, when I was the VIP driver for Chrysler (the Import Centre was in Dover then) I was at Terminal 1 at Heathrow, waiting for a boss, and Barry Humphries walked through the airport, and apart from me, nobody recognised him! They only seem to remember him in a frock! As has been suggested Shirley won't be on first! I have no show tonight so I'll be watching the Joseph auditions!

From what we've read Shirley sings a duet with Edna.

That's right Lena and Harry, but the main song from her is The Living Tree which she will also sing! This is the one the 'experts' think will get Shirley back into the singles charts for the first time in years! Like many others, I believe this to be a great song!
Have a great week-end! I've got 4 shows next week so I'm relaxing tonight and Sunday evening!

If no one else recognised her (I mean him) are you sure it was Barry Humphries Bill :?: don't forget, you didn't have your "specs" on at the time

It was a great show tonight with Barry Humphreys, very sharp tonight with his comments on Cher. He was so funny. Shirley was as good as ever Her single "The Living Tree" sounded a typical Bond song somehow to us, but a great song from the one and only Shirley and it should do well. Another song from her would have been better than the Big Spender duet. :D
Kimberley, Rod Stewarts daughter was very natural, specially when she described her dad's verbal reaction to someone on a particular occasion.

Sorry to say I missed her single, though I did catch the duet with Dame Edna. She looked fantastic as always.
England decided to put up a bit of a fight in the cricket, so I was outvoted by the men in the house! Anyway, England beat the West Indies by one wicket, and I have to admit it was an exciting finish!!... and just in time to catch the end of Dame Edna

The early midweek reports indicate that The Living Tree is in the top 40 (somewhere between 31 and 40). A "mix" of The Living Tree is in the top 75. So if sales hold up, Shirley Bassey could have two singles in the top 75. :D

(Michael Buble's Everything is only top 50. Hopefully he'll stay low and won't make the top 40!)
