DEFENESTRATION

We regret that Capello will have to go
but he presided over the fiasco,
so when matters end in deep despair,
the old adage holds: the buck stops here.

Capello should return to management at club level,
he is demonstrably out of his depth in the pressure-cooker
of the World Cup arena. I cannot imagine him giving
a rousing half-time team talk, he is handicapped by his pidgin
English. And the appearance of a plan B seems to be
as likely as snow in this glorious sun-soaked June. Sorry.

You are right Keith. How can they even have a training session when they can't understand a word he's saying.

I think you've hit the nail on the head, L&H.
The training ground tactical instructions were lost
in translation. It would account for the players'
bewildered positional sense and collective confusion.
I read that there is also communication dislocation
between the players and their Italian coaching entourage.

I'm going for Uruguay and Spain  :) .................Spain will play a lot better against the Krauts :) ...............Deago Forlan is a match winner for Uruguay.......... but they will be without Saurez.

You could be right Robert. These games have been so unpredictable. Not that many players have stood out this time.
This has not been the best World Cup Series we have seen, not by any means. :(
