Music you sing along to - in the car, bath, when hoovering..

What are you playing in the background.

I've never had to colour my hair so I suppose I've been lucky. There are quite a few grey bits but it still looks dark overall, so I suppose you'd call it salt and pepper colour

Thanks for defending me Mike--but it's Ok---I can take a joke !!

Funnily enough, George, my husband went grey at a very early age--in fact I never knew him with dark hair [which it once was]--and his son, went grey at an even younger age. So you never can tell!!!

George always told me off, because I liked to colour my hair in a red shade, which I loved---but I have toned it down a bit now !!!

Been listening to a "home made" collection of Matt while travelling today, including "Beautiful Beautiful", "Yesterday When I Was Young" and "You Bring Out The Best In Me". One or two tracks are a bit crackly, but still great! :)

Been listening to "This is Al Martino" in the car today, this is an old album I have copied to cd, mostly lesser known songs on it, including "Living Together" and "Here's to the next time",but great listening, I am sure Lena and Harry will like this one. :) :D

Not really our favourite album John. Apart from Spanish Eyes, the other one that we like, also recorded by the Carpenters was "I Wont Last A Day Without You."
We have another album of Al's with the same title "This is Al Martino" with different songs, and we like every song on this one, but quite frequently albums appear with a different title just taken from one of the tracks.

With due respect to Steve Woof, the compilations I make are superior to all the countless ones issued by EMI of Shirley Bassey's work. There are no redundant tracks and live tracks are clearly indicated. But they are only to be used in the car as most of the songs chosen are upbeat ones to cheer me up in traffic jams. Sad ballads don't work in the car for me.

Ann Shelton fronts our latest edition of Memory Lane. Reviews on her book by her niece Kelly Richards.
The narrative runs to 162 pages with a 40 page photograph section and 25 page discography.
We attended several of her charity appearances when she was involved with S.S.A.F.A Soldiers Sailors Airmen and Families Association.
A really lovely lady and a great vocalist.
