Hi Robert, we've got some catching up to do after a busy weekend, one that includes using the playback feature for anything worthwhile that we may have missed on the radio, but yes there have been quite a few famous personalities over the years, in the back of my taxi, have to get the brainbox going. A few footballers, Bobby Robson ( when he was England manager) Ian Wright, Gary Lineker, Graham Le Saux,

Fred Trueman (Cricketer) Willie Thorn, snooker, Mitzi Gaynor,

Joan Collins,

Thora Hird, many politicians including John Prescott two three times.

No memorable tips though

Hi Lena and Harry. I hope you had an enjoyable weekend. I listened to Eric Hall, he was a up a lot the night before with waterwork trouble.!!

You have had quite a few well known personalities in your "cab" haven't you. You have taken one of my top three favourite actress's, the gorgeous "Mitzi Gaynor" for a ride

you lucky

She was absolutely wonderful in "South Pacific" along with her brilliant singing voice.
You also mentioned Fred Trueman in your post. Let's wish him well for the hospital treatment he is currently receiving for the dreadful "Big C". Thank you for your reply Lena and Harry.

We now say well done to Mariana44 on joining the 100 club, it's actually 103 at this moment.
Your postings are always interesting and enjoyable and you always give us plenty of scope for making conversation and reasons to reply whatever the subject, whether it's about other singers or about Matt the singer who's brought us together here in the first place. Great stuff Mariana44.

Hello Mariana44. Can I welcome you to the Matt Monro 100 club. You sneaked up on the rails very quickly didn't you Mariana44. By my reckoning you are the fourth person to reach the "100" mark, after Lena and Harry, Marty and myself. Once again well done Mariana44, keep up the good work as it's good to talk. You just beat me to it Lena and Harry.

Hi Robert, and Harry and Lena---thank you so much for your kind words---I had no idea that I was anywhere near the 100 mark--last time I looked I was at 50.

It is really great to be able to talk to all you nice people---the fact that we all love Matt, seems to give us a lot of other things in common too.

I have to say that this is by far my favourite website.

Hello Mariana44, Lena and Harry and all. I have to agree with you Mariana44 that this is the best Website going. Not only is the subject of the site the GREAT Matt Monro (my favourite), but there is always so much much more to talk about as well, isn't there. This Website usually gets many replies every day, compared to other sites that might get a reply now and again.

Don't forget I am also a member of the 100 Club. But I sometimes log in as the Administrator if I have to go behind the scenes so to speak.
So add them both together and you will see that I am amomst the best of you.
