Paul, you are correct of course. Nina and Frederick were a Danish Duo, who sang mainly folk songs and calypso style songs.
They were very popular across Europe and North America and made regular appearances on our TV screens during the Fifties and Sixties. :lol:

It's not a great clue, as my creative juices don't seem to be working right now. However, the Matt Monro song is great or I should say beautiful and tender. I think you'll get it pretty quickly. (By the way, I really liked Marian's Culture Club Singer clue!)

Sorry, you aren't correct, Marian. I've never even heard that song.

Just to put it in writing: I liked your clue, but not Boy George. I only liked Karma Chameleon and I'll Tumble 4 Ya by Culture Club. Couldn't stand anything else.
