I thought that Will Young was in the "Mrs Henderson " film--not that I have seen it-but that is what I read. Maybe he was in 2 films.

You have seen Dame Judi Dench in your shop!
Oh my!!

Did you ask for an autograph or at least say what a big fan you are?

I'm sorry to say we just used the "facilities" in your shop Mike. We looked at the food but it was a little beyond our budget. :? :? ended up in a little Italian place not far away.

Watced "The Hitcher" last night Terence, and you were right, it was a really good film, it made us jump a few times, I can tell you. Just about to watch "I always know what you did last summer", if it is as good as the first two, it should be o.k.

Well, I ALWAYS KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER was a complete letdown. Nowhere near as good as the first 2.

I agree John.....too many sequels in this case.

I watched BECAUSE I SAID SO last night starring Diane Keaton & Mandy Moore. Plot is not bad but Diane Keaton falls flat in her portrayal of a controlling freak of a mother. In the end, the audience will laugh at her rather than with her. Diane just doesn't have the zany looks to play this role. She's too ordinary looking. Liza Minnelli or Barbra Streisand or Bette Midler will be more perfect for this role.

Mel Gibson directed it

Post by Terence Lee » Sat May 05, 2007 1:10 pm

Tonight's DVD is Apocalypto, a violent (I'm told) movie directed by Mel Gibson. I don't know what to expect as it's controversial and censored in the cinemas a few months ago. So I've been waiting for this DVD release.

Ghost Rider

Post by Terence Lee » Sat May 05, 2007 5:38 pm

A friend brought the DVD of Ghost Rider so I had to sit through this Nicholas Cage movie. I was dazzled by all the computer effects and it's too much really.
I was actually trying to figure out if the scenery was real or fake in the scenes rather than concentrating on the movie.Ultimately the movie disappoints as it's too stylised in a comic-book vein.

Watched Bridge Of Tiberithia last night, probably the best out of the last three movies I have watched over the last three nights, more of a children's film really, I suppose.
