Very well done Lena and Harry, "Rocking Chair" it is!! I was going to make the clue something about Val Doonican, but though that would give it away immediately.
Still, as opposed to rocking. Standing is opposite to sitting, which you'd do in a chair.

I did have another one (that moves ) ready in case that wasn't the right answer but finding a clue is more difficult. :D
Anyway here's one that should be easy.
" Edward With A Jersey connection."

I did not have a clue on this one last night--but I have just had an inspiration---could it be "Lily m'Lady " ??

I will wait till it is confirmed-as I do not have another one ready at present----but like you I think it is correct.

Funnily enough my first thoughts were about potatos---King Edwards, Jersey Royals--I was trying to think of a song with chips or mash in the title

Yes Marian, of course you are correct with Lily m'Lady. I wanted to double up with the clue on the thoughts about potatoes. Lillie Langty being the mistress of Edward the Seventh and known as Jersey Lilly.
We holidayed at the "Langtry Manor Hotel in Boutnemouth, a few years ago. This was the house that Edward bought for Lillie Langtry.
It was wonderful. Saturday nights was known for it's Edwardian night.
It was a Seven course meal that began at Seven O'clock and each course was brought to the table by the waiters with Seven different choices for each course.
Everyone was having a smoke and even having a short walk in between the courses. Then the lights were dimmed and they were all dressed in Edwardian costume and even enacted some scenes from the Edwardian period.
The final course of food came up at I,oclock in the morning followed by coffee etc.
Not sure if they still do this. but it was memorable. fantastic food and beautiful bedrooms all with named Royalists.

"I like to holiday at home "
