Who are Daisy and Violet anyway, Marian? Anything to do with the sitcom Keeping Up Appearances? 8)

Nothing whatsoever to do with any characters on Tv--but it was a good try.

How about Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head? The reason I am suggesting this is perhaps Daisy and Violet are cows stood in a field, getting rained upon all the time!  And they are not very happy about it.
I guess I am even further away from the correct answer?

Another shot in the dark :? :? "Dancing with Tears in My Eyes" :?:
If Daisy and Violet are cows as suggested by John, then they'd be standing as opposed to dancing, and with tears in my eyes, - not happy, unless tears of happiness of course!!

"Blue Orchids" is the one !! Well done Marian.

"Blue can also mean sad----opposite to sad is happy.

Daisy and Violet of course are simple flowers--[ not cows or soap charcters !!!--- ] opposite is posh flowers---Orchids!!!

A much simpler answer than all your ingenious guesses

Well, in a way I suppose my Blue Orchids thinking was right!!
Anyway, cows should be Daisy and Buttercup!

Here's a very simple one ...Continuous Sunshine - I wish!
