Hi everyone and greetings from the North Pole !!!!!! well its seems the North Pole at the moment......Wrexham, North Wales

My name is Mark and its wonderful to be part of this site dedicated to the great man.....Matt Monro.

Just to give you a little about my self - I am 46yrs young !!!!!!!!. My connections with Matt - I have loved his songs since I was a kid and first heard him sing (From Russia with Love) for the Bond movie.

I have now been performing in pubs and clubs as a Tribute Vocalist to Matt Monro for a couple of years now and it was last year that I was very very proud to actually be voted North Wales answer to the brilliant Matt Monro.

To get up in front of an audience at each gig and sing Matts song's is an absolutely awsome feeling - his words, music and feeling is totally undescribable of which I enjoy every time.

Anyway again its great to be here and am looking forward to meeting new friends..........Mark :D

Hi Mark

Welcome to the forum, keep up the goodwork with the tribute to Matt.

Our next favourite singer is Brn Yemm from Abergavenny, but of course no one can compare with Matt.

Have just received two more C.D's of Matt's "My Kind of Girl" and The Capitol Years" marvellous!
