Hi Robert,
As it's now Sunday evening I trust you and the Forum all had a good evening yesterday? I was singing in a Hotel in Carmarthen, South Wales last night! All went well and I got another booking (after the show) for a Wedding in October!! Please let the weather be nice tomorrow - I've got a day off!

Hi Angela,
I haven't seen you around recently - although I'm a newish member myself! Awful weather - never plan anywhere on a Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday - I'm off on those days. Gives me chance for lots of rehearsals though!
Have a great week all of you!

Great to hear all your news Mark and so glad that you're busy, busy! I had 5 shows in 10 days up to last Sat, all different in the venues and audiences! A social club in Ely, Cardiff; a Rugby Club in Swansea; a Hospital near Neath; A Residential Home on the Gower and last Sat a 3 star Hotel in Carmarthen (I got a Wedding booking after my hour's Cabaret from a couple at this Party!). Keep in touch with all your news - here's hoping that perhaps we'll entertain together one day!!!

Nice one Bill :D Saturday just gone (23rd) I did a Matt Monro Tribute gig at Wrexham Golf Club....very plush place indeed, this was a personal request from the Golf President to celebrate his 75th birthday he had seen my performance a few times :D

The whole evening went extremely well that the club have asked me to be their resident vocalist to cover all their dinner / dance and presentation evenings of which I was pleased to accept (who would'nt) :D

I have been viewing the photo's that everyone (including you) have sent in......I will have to add a few very soon so watch this space

Yes we will have to do a few song's together.......turn back the clock with Dino and Matt eh ??? sound's good with me

Great news from both Bill and Mark. and not forgetting Mark Porter who sings and entertains with these great songs. Keep working those engagements and keep the voices and memories of these Two great vocalists Dino and Matt alive along with all those other great singers of that era. Tony, Al, Vic, Johnny, Jack. and many more.
Everyone in the music business and audiences are obviously aware that the era of good singers and good music never really went away and is here to stay.
Hope we get the opportunity to see your shows Bill and Mark and Mark one of these days, but looking forward to seeing you at the Back in October.

I'm probably a bit like you Mark in regard to dressing for a show of any importance! Dean Martin was very critical of any entertainer who didn't dress properly when performing! Even in the Campion Gardens Retirement Village on the Gower last Wednesday, I was in my full regalia of tuxedo and complete with drink in hand - and the 'coffee bar' where I appeared was a 'full house' of just 22 Residents! I'm so looking forward to seeing some 'action' shots of you!
Continued good luck in all you do!

Good Morning Bill......I totally agree and I too have dressed for the occasion everytime ! it has to be done as it also show's proffesionalism too :D

We also agree with you Bill and Mark. it's important to appear suitably attired. Not nessesarily bow tie and tuxedo but at least a suit and tie. It follow the code of both those singers and the majority of the other singers who were around in those times, and shows respect for the audience.
Things have changed and so have attitudes to dress and clothes, but it's still nice to see smartness.
