Great to see you have your own part of the website now Matt. I saw you in Newport last year, very impressed. Looking forward to meeting you at the Fans Reunited meeting in November in Hayes.

Hello everyone. Does anyone else think that Matt jnr. is getting to look a lot like Matt Snr. As seen in his photograph, connected to Michele's "New's" page.

Hi Matt, we have enjoyed reading your part of the web-site. It was a great pleasure meeting you last year, and it's great to see that you'll be delighting audiences again with your tour this year.
Good luck also with your Summer Season in Blackpool, and we are both looking forward to meeting you again at the fan club meet.

Hi Robert M

We also think that Matt Jnr looks and of course sounds a lot like his dad, (Matt Snr), we saw him last weekend in Yorkshire, and thoroughly enjoyed his performance. We are very much looking forward to the fan club meet in November.

Hello Edgar and everyone. You ask if I am going to the Fan Club Meet in November, Edgar. Well the answer is -I will not- be going. To start with Edgar I just don't like travelling, full stop. There are other reason's also, but I will not go into those.
But I really do enjoy writing post's about the great Matt Monro, on the forum pages, talking to really nice people like yourselves, like Lena and Harry, Mariana44, Marty, Edgar, Marian, Paul and Michele Monro etc..
I am not an outdoor's type of person, because of certain other reason's. I'm more of an indoor's type person, music, film's, internet and watching sport.

Hi Robert, we are sorry that you won't be joining us at the fan club evening. In special preparation for this meet with you in particular, we had secretly booked, sixteen sessions a week at a fitness club, aerobics, pole vaulting, and a face lift each, :( well o.k Four facelifts each) to live up to our claim of being fit and Faulty ( Forty) :? :?
Anyway Robert seriously, you have to do what you feel comfortabl with, and to carry on doing what we all enjoy doing here, talking about Matt's magical talent and having so many laughs and so much fun
We are basically home birds too Robert, but travelling for us is generally essential.

Hi Robert, sorry you are not coming to the Fan Club Meet--it would have been great to meet up with you, along with all the other lovely people in this group---never mind, I am sure you will be with us in spirit, and we will be thinking of you, and everyone else who cannot make it, for one reason or another.

Hello Lena and Harry and Mariana44. Thank you very much for your understanding of my situation(s). You will all enjoy the meet, and as Mariana44 say's, I will be with you in spirit. But all being well I will still be here to write my post's on Matt Monro, and all the other subject's we find ourselves talking about.
By the way Lena and Harry. Please don't cancel all your keep fit activities and your face lift's, because after looking closely at your photograph I think you are in desperate need of something to make yourselves look a little younger. (Unlike myself). If you don't do anything about it, imagine how old you will look in six month's time, at the fan club meet.

Now Robert, your last posting began so sweetly too, and now your comments have completely sapped our confidence, so much so, that we feel that we have no alternative but to cancel all appointments, and accept that to make a few years disappear we have more chance of being knighted. We are devastated!!! :o :o :o :o

Hello Dame Lena and Sir Harry. I know what you need. Not beauty treatment or a facelift. You definitely need to go for some "physiotherapy" on your poor old bodies. We don't want the Corgis having a wee wee on you while your prone on the floor, do we.

Well Robert, we are soaking up (got it)  the sympathy that you have shown us, and seeing that this started out as Matt jrs thread, we'll share some good news with you. Eric is hoping to have Matt as guest again on his show in the near future. 8)

Hello Lena and Harry and everyone. Sorry but you have had your knighthood's withdrawn Lena and Harry, as Her Majesty thought you were both under the influence of alcohol, when you were seen rolling about on her nice manicured carpet.
Good to hear that Matt jnr might be on Eric Hall's show again. I didn't hear him the first time, as I did not know about the programme until you pointed the show out to me. Thank you for that. I haven't listened to this week's show as yet.
Going back to the fan club meet Lena and Harry, at least you haven't got too far to travel, have you. You will be able to go straight home afterward's also. :) :)
