Tonight's The Night - John Barrowman

Post by Marian » Sat Aug 21, 2010 8:49 am

I always watch this show anyway but I just came across this note on Michele's facebook page and saw it was happening tonight..
so, Tonight's the Night!

"Hi Matt fans. my name is Steven Brown and Michele has advised me to notify all of you about a special event concerning Matt that is about to occur. I was very fortunate to appear on John Barrowmans show singing a song made fomous by the man himself. The show will be screened on August the 21st on BBC1 and is called Tonight's The Night".

Thanks for letting us know Marian We haven't found much to interest us on Saturday nights since Over The Rainbow finished,.. barring football of course We'll look in tonight. It appears that Steven who works in Care Homes, sings with our Matt Tonight.
Isn't technology wonderful. :) :)

I saw it! It was great to hear the wonderful reception Matt received the moment he started to sing, gone for 25 years and still can get the crowds cheering!

I watched it too--just lovely--Steve did a great job, and it was obviously an emotional experience for him singing with "his hero" Matt Monro.

It was a great thrill to see Matt on TV again and I was delighted that he got such a rapturous reception. :D Steve did very well and it was apparent by his tears that he was at last able to sing with his idol. I hope he gets some singing gigs coming his way after his appearance on TV. :)

Nice to hear from you Sheila. :)
Yes, Steve did well and fulfilled a dream to sing with our hero Matt. :) in fact I somehow seem to recognise him from something else. Must get thinking. ?:? :)
