Keely Smith is really funny and said to Eric ( who sometimes gets over excited and don't give his guests or phone in listeners a chance to speak). I haven't heard a word you've said yet.., slow down. He played a record of her singing with her former husband which didn't make her jump over the moon Anyway Marian knowing Eric, we won't be at all surprised if JM comes on his show.

Thanks Lena and Sandra for mentioning Keely Smith on Eric Hall. I listened to it and enjoyed the whole program. I love when listeners call in and sing. The man did pretty well on Don't Take Your Love From Me. What a great underrated song. Someone should sing that on one of those TV talent shows instead of the same tired standards. It was funny when Keely was correcting his notes. She must be a perfectionist. I'm not sure I agree with Eric that she's the best American female singer ever, but she's certainly top 20 or even top 10.

Don't Take Your Love from Me is a lovely song, and many recorded it.
