Have just heard the sad that actor Tony Curtis has died at the age of 85, probably best remembered for his role in the movie...Some Like It Hot..

I just heard this news too. I think he was over here not too long ago as a guest on a few tv broadcasts.
Nice to hear he died peacefully ("in his bed") :)

In his younger days, his good looks and famously named haircut made him adored by the female population at that time.
His claim of bedding 1,000 women must have taken place during that heyday.
because it wasn't too long before he lost those handsome boyish good looks and didn't pull any punches with his comments about some of those women.
Many will still miss him though.  It's a funny old world :D :D

My favourite film of Tony Curtis was Taras Bulba--still occasionally shown on Tv---also starred Yul Brynner as his father.

Tony looked great dressed as a female in Some Like It Hot (along with the late Jack Lemmon) :) :) .......................RIP :(

Sad to learn of Tony's passing. I have fond memories of him in The Persuaders with Roger Moore with his red Ferrari; the theme music to that show was one of the best ever. R.I.P., Tony.
