Will definately try to watch Petula Clark on Paul O'Grady later today.

Ok, so it's been a quiet hour here. We've all been watching Petula, a true star. What a great lady and doesn't she look terrific.
She is among the best and a true professional. Great vocalist.
Watch for the Cd in the new year.
Natalie from Eastenders has been guest on Eric Halls a couple of times a really nice down to earth personality.
Well we also remember seeing the brilliant and super tap dancing duo the Clark Brothers many times when variety shows were entertainment. Those were the days.

Yes, it was great to see Petula and how good she was looking.
Nice to see the little clips from her past too.
A U.K tour to look forward to next April, appeared to be news that Petula herself only heard this morning.

The Clark Brothers were fantastic and was it Stephen who was there, he could still move couldn't he?!! Interesting to hear his second cousin was Sammy Davis Junior.

I have just been reading there are 2 new albums in the pipeline for Our Pet. She is bringing out a duet album, some of the songs are ones she recorded years ago with the likes of Bobby Darin and Harry Belafonte, and the second album she is working with Rod McKuen. This is something to look forward to.

Yes I heard sometime ago about Petulas duet album.

I have her singing a duet with Bobby Darin-I think it is "All I have to do is dream" ---really nice. And I know she has dueted with Johnny Mathis--a long.long time ago.-I think the song was "We're all alone"

Just been looking at Pet's website and she has a new album out called SOLITUDE AND SUNSHINE, there are several Rod McKuen songs on it. I think it is only available in the US at the moment though.

There's a repeat of the programme about Petula Clark's life on BBC 4 tonight at 8p.m. I think it's called "Blue Lady".

I am furious with myself---I read it in time, and had every intention of setting my sky+ when I went downstairs--and promptly forgot about it !!

I saw it before, and it was a very good programme-I wish I had not deleted it--or at least copied it first.

There is a new dvd out called "Portrait of Petula" from one of her shows from the late sixties with Andy Williams and Sacha Distel. Not sure where you can order it from though, it isn't listed with HMV or Amazon.
